Towing a Trailer/Pop-Up with Your Own Vehicle
Renter agrees to have at least statutory limits of insurance coverage on his personal vehicle which is towing the rented trailer/pop-up -- including liability, collision and comprehensive. 

Physical damage coverage and statuatory limits of liability are provided by the rental dealer for any trailer/pop-up.

The renter agrees to pay and be responsible for any and all damage to the rented trailer/pop-up that is caused directly or indirectly from its towing with his personal vehicle.  Renter agrees and understands that all damage caused to the towed vehicle and its cargo is the responsibility and at the expense of the renter.  Renter also agrees any damage which occurs to his personal vehicle from the towed unit is the responsibility and at the expense of the renter. 

When towing any unit equipped with electric brakes, renter must have a brake controller installed on vehicle that is doing the towing.  There are no exceptions.  Brake controller may be installed by Neff Brothers RV Service Department, but a minimum of seven days notice must be given for a set appointment ­ no exceptions.  Pricing for brake controller installation will vary with vehicle type, wiring needed and type of brake controller purchased.  Renter will not be permitted to leave facility with trailer without a brake controller.  

Renter must also use appropriate hitch for towing and equalizer bars.  Renter may rent these from Neff Brothers RV for $50 flat.  

Renter must have vehicle height at appropriate ball height for trailer rented prior to pick-up.  If Neff Brothers RV has to take additional time for setting ball height, there will be an additional charge of $40 minimum for labor costs.  

Renter must be able to hook up and unhook trailer to own vehicle at departure.  A Neff Brothers RV staff member will show renter the procedure for doing this, but renter must be able to do it on his/her own.  Neff Brothers RV will not be held responsible for any personal injury done to anyone or any physical damage done to trailer or other property when renter is hooking up or unhooking trailer at any tim
